This is a brand new opportunity to join the HR/L&D structure as part of the Senior Leadership Team of a large national multi-site manufacturing organization.
As a Learning and Development Professional, you will be responsible for implementing and championing the site-wide L&D strategy, ensuring all training activities are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the site L&D training budget and ensure regulatory training is delivered and maintained.
- Develop and deliver structured L&D programs and competency-based frameworks for colleagues at all levels.
- Deliver learning events, including inductions, and conduct learning needs and skills assessments.
- Ensure all L&D activities result in the ongoing development of the site and people, helping to build high-performing teams, increase staff engagement, and improve retention.
- Continuously look for new and improved ways of development/training, exploring new methodologies and methods of delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records/metrics and systems.
- Experience as a Learning and Development Professional in a manufacturing environment (ideally food or related).
- Experience in coaching and developing Senior Leaders and Operational Management.
- Competitive salary of £45,000.
- Pension up to 5%.
- More than statutory holiday - 35 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
