Network Architect

Cerco is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Network Engineering: Deliver high-quality network engineering projects, handle advanced support issues, and ensure seamless network operations.
- Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and troubleshoot various network architecture and hardware, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Business Solutions: Design and implement business solutions using common network equipment, aligning with our company's strategic objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and diagnose performance issues, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Reporting: Draw up network status reports, providing valuable insights to our management team.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with network architects to design and implement functional company networks, ensuring alignment with our business needs.
- Security: Create and implement network security measures, protecting our company's assets and data.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior Network Engineering staff, sharing your expertise and knowledge to ensure their growth and development.
- Performance Testing: Conduct regular network performance tests, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintenance: Delegate networking maintenance tasks to junior staff, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Support: Deal with escalated network support issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Certifications: Must have current Cisco LAN / WAN - CCNA level experience, with a strong understanding of network operating systems, including Cisco, JUNOS, and IOS.
- Experience: Previous work experience as a Networking Engineer with proven experience in Firewalls and LAN/WAN networks.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of network operating systems, networking hardware, communication and routing protocols, analytical and problem-solving skills, time, priority, and task management skills, interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to convey a professional image and deal confidently with technical problems.
