Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Management and Troubleshooting: Manage and troubleshoot devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Incident Response: Respond to escalated issues and resolve them in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Network Configuration: Configure enterprise firewalls and switches from leading vendors, including Cisco, Juniper, and FortiGate.
  • Collaboration and Support: Cross-collaborate with the Infrastructure and Senior Networking teams to design and implement solutions.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Write detailed documentation for future reference and audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices to improve network efficiency, security, and overall performance.
  • Incident Management: Assist with major incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal network recovery.

Technical Requirements:

  • Operating Systems: Experience with both Linux and Windows environments is advantageous.
  • Network Protocols: Familiarity with WAN/LAN, VPN, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and Network Monitoring tools like SolarWinds.
  • Network Architecture: Knowledge of VLAN, WLAN, and other network architecture concepts.
