Assistant Professor of Molecular Cardiology

In this role, you will engage in research, teaching, and administrative responsibilities within our esteemed institution. You will play a key role in fostering academic leadership in the molecular and cellular dimensions of cardiac function.
Your collaboration with our Cardiovascular and Exercise Sciences research community will be essential in furthering our goal of integrating research on cardiac function, neuromuscular dynamics, and physical activity, all aimed at enhancing human health outcomes. This position is particularly suited for researchers focused on the fundamental mechanisms of cardiac function in both health and disease, which is crucial to our mission. As a researcher in molecular or cellular domains, you will forge strong collaborations with the membrane biology cohort in Biomedical Sciences, The Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology, and the Biodiscovery teams.
