We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled financial leader to join our team as the Head of Network Finance and Strategy. This is a 6-month fixed-term position, reporting to the Head of Transformation, with the possibility of evolving into a long-term role.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Strategy and Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy for the B Lab Global Network, aligning with the company's transformation goals.
- Design and maintain a long-term business model for the network, linking strategy, product development, and revenue generation.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, including new pricing models, revenue diversification, and monetization of network offerings.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the network's strategic goals and operational plans.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports to governance and leadership bodies.
- Change Management and Infrastructure Development:
- Navigate and manage the complexities of organizational change, driving transformation initiatives while maintaining financial stability and stakeholder confidence.
- Develop tools, systems, people, and processes for long-term financial collaboration across the network.
- Deliverables for First 6 Months:
- Support the Global Business Model Working Group in finalizing the 2025 Network Financial Plan.
- Develop a comprehensive 2025 transformation budget, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and the evolving network strategy.
- Analyze the financial implications of evolving our core product offering.
- Develop a multi-year network transformation budget, outlining the financial requirements for the network's transformation over the next 3-5 years.
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled financial leader with a strong track record in financial strategy, management, and transformation. The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role overseeing finance, business transformation, and operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets of $100MM.
- Strategic planning and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead finance teams and cross-functional groups through periods of change and uncertainty.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Process improvement skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance functions and the broader network.
- Transparency and narrative building skills, with the ability to provide clear, transparent, and regular updates on financial performance and transformation progress.
- Ability to work collaboratively, exercising good judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Innovative and dynamic, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Mission-driven, with a passion for systems change and how business can be a force for good.
- Experience partnering with a dynamic and complex network of stakeholders, with high EQ and excellent partnership and relationship management skills.

B Lab has a compensation plan that includes:
- An annual salary in the range of £118,300 - £130,000.
- In your first year, you'll start with 20 vacation days in addition to national and bank holidays.
- Additional time off during org-wide closures when the entire organization is closed (not including holidays).
- After your first year of employment, paid time off for community service, paid parental leave, and a professional development budget (we assess this PD budget annually).
