Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Staff to support our Primary and Secondary Special Educational Needs Schools in and around Horley.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good work ethic, calm and patient nature, happy to use own initiative and get involved, able to be flexible, kind and caring towards children of all needs and abilities, happy to take on training, and have previous experience working with SEN children (ideal but not essential).

Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in the classroom
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Work with children of all ages and abilities
  • Provide individual support to children as needed
  • Help to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Previous experience working with SEN children (ideal but not essential)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
