We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Staff to support our Primary and Secondary Special Educational Needs Schools in and around Horley.
About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) or those who are eager to develop their skills in this area.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teachers and support staff to provide individualized support to students with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to students with SEN in a Primary or Secondary school setting
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
- Support students with their learning and development
- Work collaboratively with other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system
- Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Previous experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
- A positive attitude and a calm, patient nature
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
