Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Mental Health Practitioner and Supervisor to join our CAMHS Getting Help and Mental Health Support Teams in East Berkshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical assessments, formulation, and short-term therapeutic interventions to young people with mild to moderate mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct clinical assessments and formulation for young people up to the age of 18 years, presenting with mild to moderate mental health problems.
- Develop and deliver short-term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions (individual, group, family, as appropriate).
- Provide training and consultation to external agencies regarding the mental health presentation of children and young people who are accessing the Getting Help Team.
- Liaise and work jointly with the Getting Help / MHST and the locality Early Help Hub and specialist CAMHS services.
- Use routine outcome measures to promote active participation from young people and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Supervise and train clinicians as appropriate to role.
