Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
  2. Financial Reporting: Lead the analysis of monthly numbers and present findings to the board, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  3. Audit and Compliance: Manage the end-to-end audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  4. Financial Operations: Oversee the payment of payroll, VAT, and HMRC processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  5. Cash Flow Management: Review weekly payment runs and ensure all creditors are paid within terms, monitoring debtors and ensuring all receipts are received within terms.
  6. Team Management: Lead and manage an Accounts Assistant, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
  7. Financial Planning: Prepare annual Statutory accounts and ad-hoc pieces of work as requested by management.
  8. Banking and Cash Management: Monitor and manage multiple bank accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with previous strong experience within the finance function.
  2. Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills and ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad-hoc basis.
