Lead Chassis Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Chassis Engineer to join our client's expanding team on a Contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of quality components and systems for new class-leading motorcycles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the design and development of quality components and systems for new class-leading motorcycles.
  • Successfully communicating and working with key internal departments and external service providers and suppliers to ensure quality design and feasibility.
  • Approving concept and detail CAD designs and drawings.
  • Attending and inputting into engineering reviews and discussions.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support supplier development and product testing.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree with a grade of 2:1 or above.
  • Practical hands-on engineering and mechanical experience.
  • An understanding of motorcycle chassis design and its interaction with powertrain and electronics is essential for this role.
  • A minimum of 6 years within a motorcycle engineering background.
