The ideal candidate will be responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer projects within agreed timescales and quality levels. This will involve:

  • Responding promptly and professionally to all incoming product enquiries
  • Booking meetings with customers to understand their requirements and effectively sell a solution
  • Building professional relationships with customers, from shop floor to director level
  • Conducting product demonstrations at the showroom
  • Managing the full sales process from enquiry to delivered machine
  • Negotiating unit prices, service, and spare part packages
  • Utilizing a CRM system to record sales activities and manage the pipeline
  • Maintaining and ensuring the upkeep of company tools, equipment, and property

Requirements:

  • Previous experience selling technical products, such as machinery, electrical products, or equipment supplied to the manufacturing industry
  • The ability to demonstrate effective solution selling in front of customers
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • A clean UK driver's license
  • Flexibility to travel extensively and occasionally stay overnight in hotels
