About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at BetterQA. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of technical solutions and troubleshooting procedures for maritime operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Core Section Head in developing technical solutions, troubleshooting protocols, and hardware upgrades.
  • Coordinate and support ship surveys for CIS installations.
  • Administer hardware and software systems for assigned operations.
  • Maintain and update technical and service documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Report configuration control data to the Core Section Head in a timely manner.
  • Provide remote support for Flagship handovers for nations involved in Standing Naval Forces (SNF).
  • Collaborate closely with technicians, engineers, and other personnel within the broader NCI Agency.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with VMware Virtualization technology.
  • Familiarity with SAN technology.
  • Expertise in Windows workstation imaging techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Server Technologies, including Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
  • Experience with Application Server technologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL IT service management model.
  • Familiarity with Incident and Problem Management processes.
  • High proficiency in English language.
