Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at Smartsearch Recruitment Ltd. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical installations and modifications are safe, fit for purpose, and comply with the 18th edition of the wiring regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Installation, alteration, and modification of electrical systems, including 1st and 2nd fix work.
  • Supervising Electrician's Mates and ensuring that they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Performing general maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
    • Carrying out routine inspections and testing of electrical systems.
    • Identifying and reporting any defects or issues with electrical systems.
    • Providing technical guidance and support to colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar Electrical Installation Specialist role.
  • Completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship.
  • JIB/ECS Approved (Gold card).
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing certification.
  • AM2 certification.
