Job Overview
North Bristol NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse/ODP to join our theatre team. Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced theatre environment. This will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow and effective communication. The role will also involve participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest perioperative issues and guidelines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have a sound knowledge of the guidelines set out in the NMC/HCPC code of professional conduct and current perioperative issues. Additionally, you will need to be able to undertake shift work and contribute to team development.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse or ODP with evidence of ongoing professional development. They will also need to possess effective communication skills, verbal and written, to include report writing and record keeping. A sound knowledge of the guidelines set out in the NMC/HCPC code of professional conduct and current perioperative issues is also essential.
