English Teacher Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team at a Good Ofsted rated Secondary School in Chestnut. As an English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to instill a love of English in our students and help them achieve academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in English Language and Literature to students at KS3 and KS4.
  • Maintain a well-organized and professional classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve departmental and school goals.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their best.
  • Comply with school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching English at Secondary level.
  • SEND experience is desirable.
