English Teacher Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at a Good Ofsted rated Secondary School in Chestnut. The successful candidate will have a passion for English and a desire to instill that passion in our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to students in KS3 and KS4 English Language and Literature.
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their best.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
  • Maintain a well-organized and professional classroom environment.
  • Comply with the school's policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching English at Secondary level.
  • SEND experience is desirable.
