ROLE OVERVIEW

Burberry Limited is seeking a seasoned Consumer and Marketing Insights Manager to spearhead the development of data-driven marketing strategies. This role will focus on cultivating a culture of insights within the Marketing team, driving informed decision-making, and enhancing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights and consumer research into marketing strategies, empowering teams to deliver results grounded in data-driven analysis.
  • Work closely with channel leads to develop marketing strategies that leverage data and insights as a key component of the development process.
  • Design, manage, and track marketing KPIs across the department to analyze performance, extract findings, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and deliver marketing reports on campaigns and activations, global and regional KPIs regularly, in collaboration with marketing channels and region leads.
  • Partner with our research partner to oversee the execution of our Brand Tracking study across multiple markets.
  • Lead the briefing, design, and execution of primary research to gain a deeper understanding of consumers and market trends, enabling agile decision-making and supporting marketing and business growth.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of secondary sources to extract broader market and consumer insights, identifying growth opportunities, monitoring competitors, and understanding the luxury fashion industry.
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics to bridge the gap between data and marketing, establishing a sustainable workstream between the two functions resulting in actionable outcomes.
  • Utilize data from multiple marketing and business sources to develop a holistic performance perspective, responding to ad-hoc stakeholder requests with timely analysis using Insight tools.
  • Develop a learning agenda from insights and data gathered, rolling it out to the marketing department to ensure an ongoing growth cycle.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Proven experience in research design and delivery, with expertise in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, including statistical techniques and social listening.
  • In-depth understanding of marketing ecosystems, data sources, and analytics with proficiency in Marketing Mix Modelling, Econometrics, and data visualization.
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail, capable of identifying key findings, trends, and their implications for marketing strategies, while conveying a compelling data-driven narrative.
  • Strong ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with colleagues and teams across different functions, fostering robust relationships.
  • Confident presenter with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, uncovering insights to inform business strategies and shape marketing approaches.
