Safety Compliance Specialist

As a Brewery and Tenanted Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of safety within our Brewery and Support Office. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about both Health & Safety and Fire Safety, and who are eager to share their knowledge and drive to influence our teams while advancing their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to the safety team and collaborate with all stakeholders to cultivate a best-practice safety culture.
- Guide People Leaders in prioritizing and executing corrective actions following observations, audits, and inspections.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols, including Risk Assessments and incident reporting.
- Work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure ongoing compliance with statutory regulations.
- Support the creation and rollout of new safety policies and systems.
- Foster collaborative interactions to enhance the company's safety systems.
- Maintain confidential safety files for the Brewery and Support Office.
- Monitor compliance and advocate for continuous improvement in safety practices.
- Accurately document all relevant compliance items.
- Advise on the processing and recording of accidents and incidents.
- Enhance your knowledge of Health and Safety and Fire Safety legislation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Safety Manager.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Level 3 Health & Safety qualification or is eager to pursue one.
- Has prior experience in safety within the manufacturing sector.
- Is observant and skilled at identifying and addressing hazards promptly.
- Demonstrates a commitment to promoting a safety-oriented culture.
- Is approachable and effective in communication with various stakeholders.
- Exhibits strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and possesses data analytical skills.
- Is organized and capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
