We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Safety Professional to join our team at Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewer. As a Brewery and Tenanted Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in driving a best-practice safety culture across our Brewery and Support Office.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Safety Team to develop and implement safety protocols, including Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOWs)
- Provide day-to-day support to the wider safety team and advise People Leaders on prioritizing and completing corrective actions
- Assist in the creation and execution of safety-related training programs and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Work closely with the Facilities Manager to maintain statutory compliance across the Brewery and Support Office site
- Support the development and implementation of new safety policies and systems
- Preferred but not essential Level 3 Health & Safety qualification
- Previous knowledge and experience of safety within the manufacturing industry
- Observant and proficient in identifying, rectifying, and escalating hazards promptly
- Passion for promoting and supporting a safety-focused culture
- Conscientious professional with a strong commitment to safety
