Job Title: Ganger

We are seeking an experienced Ganger to join our team in Bournemouth. As a Ganger, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of highway improvement schemes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the construction of highway improvement schemes, including roadworks, traffic signal installations, and controlled crossing sites.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage a team of skilled operatives, including supervisors and laborers.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in highway construction and project management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
