Job Title: Ganger

We are seeking an experienced Ganger to join our team. As a Ganger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our highway improvement projects. Your expertise will be essential in managing site operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop and implement project plans.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community groups.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in highway improvement projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
