About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Skilled Operative to join our team at Octavius Regional Civil Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering highways improvement schemes across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole for BCP Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the construction of numerous highway and cycleway improvement schemes across the conurbation.
  • Work on general highway improvements, new or modified traffic signal junctions, and controlled crossing sites.
  • Participate in road safety schemes, urban realm and streetscape improvements, and cycling schemes.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Hold a valid CSCS card and relevant qualifications.
  • Have experience working in a similar role, preferably on National Highways or local authority networks.
  • Be able to interpret construction drawings and plans.
