Job Opportunity: Associate Lecturer in Counselling

We are seeking an experienced and qualified counsellor to join our team as an Associate Lecturer in Counselling. The successful candidate will have a secure knowledge of and training in psychodynamic counselling at an appropriate level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate modules in psychosocial understandings and reflective practice, and psychodynamic thinking and helping practice.
  • Lead experiential groups and provide guidance to students.
  • Develop and deliver curriculum content in line with departmental requirements.
Requirements:
  • Qualified counsellor with specialism in psychodynamic thinking and practice.
  • Experience of teaching in higher education and leading experiential groups.
  • Awareness of and ability to attend to the needs of mature learners.
