About Us: Thames Hospice is a leading independent hospice providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care, as well as vital support for patients' families.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Retail Superstore Manager to oversee all departments within our brand-new charity superstore in Reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving store performance, leading a team, and embracing our culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring seamless customer service and efficient sales processes.
- Lead and motivate a team of retail staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance store profitability.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to achieve business objectives and optimize store performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a charity or non-profit setting.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
