Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Cognus Limited, focusing on providing exceptional support to children and adolescents who are neurodiverse. Our approach is holistic, taking into account various factors such as cultural background and the impact of recent global events on mental health.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- Enhance their diagnostic and assessment skills while delivering tailored interventions for neurodevelopmental and mental health challenges.
- Develop leadership capabilities within a collaborative environment.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our services.
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Participate in public speaking engagements to promote awareness and understanding.
- Supervise and mentor assistant psychologists.
A solid understanding of child development, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and mental health issues such as trauma and anxiety is essential. Candidates should have prior experience working with autistic youth aged 8-18 and be adept at applying psychological principles in community settings, showcasing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
