Senior Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer to join our team in an investment business with financial compliance skills.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory regimes under which the business operates, including the FCA's Consumer Duty requirements and the Data Protection Act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold the SMF 16 function (Compliance oversight function)
- Provide an effective systems and controls framework across the Organisation
- Monitor all aspects of the business to identify actual or potential weaknesses
- Act as Compliance Officer in identifying, investigating and rectifying rule breaches
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications such as the CISI Level 6 Diploma in Financial Compliance.
They will also have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure at times.
Knowledge of business processes, standards, policies and procedures, as well as experience within the Financial Services Industry, is also essential.
