Job Summary:

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join a business-critical programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the project from initiation to delivery, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of project managers and stakeholders to deliver a complex infrastructure project.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including project roadmaps, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and vendors.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, risks, and issues.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project communication plans, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure and applications migration projects.
  • Eligible for BPSS clearance.
  • Strong working knowledge of applications migration and EUC (End-User Computing).
  • Expertise in matrix and people management.
  • Previous experience of project roadmaps, including sub-projects and multiple workstreams.
  • Confident to serve as the escalation point for project team members.
  • Ability to manage risk and emergency situations.
  • Comfortable to collaborate with relevant teams to plan costs.
  • The ability to liaise with the PMOs.
  • Ensure the regulatory requirements of the product/solution are met.
  • Excellent stakeholder management communication skills.
