Job Summary

MW Appointments, a leading recruitment agency in the insurance sector, is seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our team. As a key member of our Marine and Energy Division, you will provide technical support functions and work closely with our clients to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and process pre-inception and post-placement documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Timely and accurately produce Market Presentations, Slips, Cover Notes, Debit Notes, and Endorsements, complying with internal procedures.
  • Review documents at key stages to ensure accuracy and completeness for subsequent processing.
  • Quoting, Placement, and Post Contract Alterations.
  • Analyze and provide advice on risk and insurance issues, structuring appropriate coverage for the insured's operations, exposure, and risk.
  • Produce market presentations to secure the best possible terms for the client.
  • Negotiate and obtain the most appropriate carrier, coverage, and price for the client's requirements.
  • Resolve subjectivities and warranties in accordance with client/wholesale broker/insurer instructions to secure underwriters' participation.
  • Negotiate agreement to post-placement changes.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar broker support/Account Handler role within the Lloyd's market.
  • Marine and Energy experience and knowledge.
