About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Document Controller to join our team in Nuneaton. As a key member of our water team, you will be responsible for implementing, developing, and operating our contract documentation and computer records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the quality check process for documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of distribution lists, workflows, and review cycles.
  • Ensure the accuracy of filenames and electronic files before submission.
  • Record the reason for change when revising documents.
  • Collate and issue project/site start-up packs.
  • Manage change by ensuring documents are processed correctly and made available to the commercial team.
  • Collate and issue handover documentation, including O&M manuals, H&S files, as-built records, and completion packs.
  • Develop and train document controllers and assistant document controllers.
  • Provide Aconex training to project staff within 5 working days of starting.
  • Manage site scanning of documents and records, ensuring legibility and traceability.
  • Assist with archiving of documents, ensuring legibility and traceability.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Document Management Systems, such as Project Wise, Hummingbird, BIW, and Aconex.
  • Flexible and can-do attitude.
  • Confident in building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
