**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of tenders, from £100,000 to £20m.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate all aspects of tenders, including tender walk arounds, documentation, and pricing.
- Attend tender meetings and present proposals and costs to clients.
- Manage the stage-by-stage signoff of information, drawings, and design, while maintaining a weekly meeting/record of progress.
- Coordinate all building services activities from a spatial awareness perspective and programming/logistical approach.
- Monitor and control sub-contractor's accounts, applications, and variations.
- Produce detailed cost advice to Commercial Managers for incorporation into internal and external financial control documents.
- Review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) from an initial H&S and technical appraisal point of view.
- Undertake detailed snagging (defects inspection) of all installed services ensuring quality and technical specification compliance.
- Produce detailed snagging reports to sub-contractors and oversee the process of clearing all snags and final sign off.
- Contracting background with good design and build experience.
- Good all-round understanding of all aspects of building services.
- Aware and appreciative of the interaction between services and other associated disciplines.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Financial awareness with an eye to see financial opportunities.
