Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Director to lead our Adult Social Care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective leadership, development, and management to ensure the highest possible quality of service is delivered within the resources available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve the quality of Adult Social Care services.
  • Provide leadership and management to staff within Adult Social Care Operations, including specialist social work teams.
  • Work in close partnership with Health to deliver integrated services and support vulnerable individuals and the wider population.
  • Hold lead responsibility for staff within Adult Social Care Operations and specialist social work teams.
  • Lead on key aspects of the transformation of health and social care to create an integrated effective service for the population.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous Service Director experience and current working at that level is essential.
  • Experience working with Adult Social Care with relevant experience gained within a similar job role is essential.
  • Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England is essential.
  • A relevant graduate Level qualification or equivalent and/or relevant compensating experience at a leadership level is essential.
Working Arrangements

The role is hybrid with 23 days in the office. Working hours are 37 hours per week.
