Contract Type: Temporary
Overview of Temporary Engagement
At Brook Street Social Care, we strive to match you with appropriate assignments throughout your tenure.
Why Choose Brook Street Social Care?
In recognition of your dedication and effort, we offer a competitive hourly wage starting at £11, along with enhanced annual leave based on hours worked, improved sickness pay relative to your service duration, access to our National Wellbeing Lead and Wellbeing Champions, team initiatives, eye-care benefits, opportunities for personal development including complimentary training, optional overtime, a referral program, a commitment to our EDI strategies, workplace pension, and various other benefits.
Role Responsibilities:
Your work will involve both a residential setting and, depending on the assignment, community outreach.
You will assist individuals at risk of losing their homes, those facing mental health challenges, individuals dealing with substance dependency, or even those with a criminal background.
Whether they require emotional support, assistance with housing benefits applications, or simply someone to converse with, your role will be to provide that essential support.
As this is a temporary position, often requiring immediate coverage, you should be prepared to adapt quickly.

Your Path with Brook Street Social Care:
Initially, I will review your CV and subsequently invite you for a phone discussion to cover your eligibility to work, employment history, suitability for the position, and any inquiries you may have.
This process will include a DBS and reference verification, along with proof of your right to work.
The following day, your consultant will follow up to discuss your initial shift experience and your interest in continuing.
Make a Difference:
If you are passionate about positively impacting service users and advancing your career, we welcome your interest.
