Job Title: Geological Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Consultant to join our team at CV Library. As a Geological Consultant, you will play a key role in providing expert advice on geotechnical design and ground engineering elements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement geotechnical design solutions for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  2. Collaborate with structural engineers to achieve cost-effective foundation solutions based on site-specific ground conditions.
  3. Conduct site assessments to identify potential ground-related risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  4. Prepare detailed calculations, reports, and drawings to support geotechnical design proposals.
  5. Advise on site investigation briefs to ensure design requirements are met.
  6. Assist with site investigations and provide technical support to senior engineers.
  7. Visit sites as required to ensure effective project delivery.
Person Specification:
  1. Minimum 18 months of geotechnical design experience, or a recent graduate with a passion for geotechnics.
  2. Degree or higher in geotechnics or a related field.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. Strong technical writing and numerical modeling skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Team player with a strong organizational and attention to detail.
  7. Proficient in IT, particularly Excel.
  8. Confident communicator with a dynamic and self-motivated approach.
Benefits:
  1. Competitive salary range: £27,000 - £36,000.
