Technical Agile Project Manager – Vice President Level

Location: Northampton (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £90k

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Agile Project Manager to join our team as a Vice President Level. This is a unique opportunity to drive agile transformation and lead change within a high-impact environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead the setup and management of agile feature teams for complex projects and programmes. They will organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, collaborate with Product Owners and Solution Architects to manage backlogs and workflows, and implement agile metrics to monitor progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup and management of agile feature teams for complex projects and programmes.
  • Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint demos, retrospectives).
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Solution Architects to manage backlogs and workflows.
  • Implement agile metrics to monitor progress, resolve blockers, and ensure accurate sprint tracking.
  • Coach and mentor teams on agile methodologies, fostering continuous improvement and productivity.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to manage expectations and influence decision-making.
  • Manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of change initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading agile projects and change initiatives within complex environments.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools like JIRA.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage risk, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in financial services or payments is desirable but not essential.
