Job Opportunity: ER/HR Consultant

Salary: £55-62k FTE (Pro-rata)

Working Hours: 21 hours per week (open to negotiation on working pattern)

Location: Solihull base/Hybrid working

We are currently working with a small, successful HR and Employment Law Consultancy, THE RECRUITMENT DUO, to recruit an experienced ER/HR Consultant with a passion for Employment Law & Employee Relations.

As an HR Partner, you will operate in partnership with various business stakeholders across the SME market, offering credible HR advice with a pragmatic, commercially aligned approach.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director in shaping the business strategy to deliver on growth plans and gain high levels of satisfaction by adding real value to clients.

In return for your success in helping to grow the business, you will be given autonomy in shaping client strategy and longer-term progression opportunities will offer the chance to become a business partner in the Consultancy business.

The role will suit someone with significant success in managing Employee Relations caseloads across a wide range of challenges, with some experience of or evidence of potential to provide holistic HR partnering.

This role will enable opportunities to seek that next step with greater influence and involvement within the Consultancy business plans and those of its clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Employee Relations caseloads across a wide range of challenges
  • Provide holistic HR partnering to various business stakeholders
  • Offer credible HR advice with a pragmatic, commercially aligned approach
  • Contribute to shaping the business strategy to deliver on growth plans
  • Develop and implement effective HR solutions to meet client needs

Requirements:

  • Significant success in managing Employee Relations caseloads
  • Experience of or evidence of potential to provide holistic HR partnering
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide pragmatic HR advice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
