Civitas Charity Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be working with a fantastic Islamic charity dedicated to providing long-term, consistent support to orphan children and their families in need.

The charity supports and cares for over 40,000 orphans and their families in 13 countries, including Somalia and Palestine.

A fantastic opportunity exists for a Fundraising and Development Manager to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a crucial role in securing financial resources to support the charity's orphan and widow sponsorship programs.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee fundraising activities across a broad suite of avenues, including community, events, mosques, and local business partnerships.
  • Develop and manage fundraising campaigns and activities to meet targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve fundraising goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of fundraising specifically, community fundraising.
  • Experience of fundraising and donor relations in the charity sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including grant writing and public speaking.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Familiarity with fundraising software and CRM systems.
