About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Project Manager to join our Development Team at Havebury Housing Partnership. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Director of Development and Deputy Chief Executive in delivering our development objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Assist in the implementation of quality control procedures to ensure contractor performance, building defects, and post-contract site visit inspections are conducted to a high standard.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain productive working relationships with consultants and contractors to ensure a high standard of probity and integrity.
  • Document Management: Coordinate and monitor the checking and verification of all handover documents to ensure they are accurate and complete.
  • Project Management: Utilize project management and appraisal tools to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Technical Skills: Possess excellent technical skills, including Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Time and Project Management: Demonstrate excellent time and project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: £35,000 per annum, plus a car allowance of £1,545 per annum.
  • Flexible Working: Enjoy a 37-hour working week with flexible working arrangements, including full hybrid working conditions from home and our office in Bury St Edmunds.
  • Annual Leave: 28 days per year, increasing to 32 days when you reach your 3rd year with us. You can also buy, sell, or carry over up to 5 days of annual leave each year.
