About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Outpatient Pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing leadership and direction to our pharmacy staff, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality outpatient pharmacy service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the efficient and effective delivery of all aspects of the outpatient pharmacy service, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and safety.
  • Contribute to the optimisation and development of the outpatient pharmacy, working collaboratively with the pharmacy manager and other team members.
  • Provide clinical and professional leadership and advice to all pharmacy staff, ensuring the implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and prescribing guidelines.
  • Ensure the maintenance of registration of the premises with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and adherence to the Medicines (Pharmacies) (Responsible Pharmacist) Regulations 2008.
  • Work with the wider multi-disciplinary team to enhance and develop the outpatient pharmacy service, continually reviewing pathways to optimise care.
