As a Senior Accounts Specialist, your primary focus will be on collaborating with clients, predominantly managing year-end account preparations and overseeing management accounts.

You will also have the opportunity to engage in additional projects as they arise, playing a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our clientele.


Key Responsibilities:
Prepare working files and draft financial statements.
Address client inquiries and compile discussion points for senior management.
Operate within budgets established during the planning phase.
Generate draft tax computations and provisions for incorporation into company accounts.
Ensure compliance with statutory disclosures as per company checklists.
Identify basic tax planning opportunities while adhering to established procedures.
Utilize computer-based accounting software to achieve high-quality outcomes.
Participate in training and seminars to enhance both technical and personal skills.
Work towards professional qualifications if not yet achieved, with comprehensive study support provided.
Represent the firm professionally in interactions with clients and other professionals.

Your Experience Should Include:
Prior experience as a Senior Accounts Specialist within a reputable accounting firm.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with cloud-based accounting software.
Familiarity with IRIS and Xero (preferred, but not mandatory).

Skills and Attributes:
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and application of skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

Qualifications:
ACA or ACCA qualified, although part-qualified candidates will also be considered.
