Location: Derby, Derbyshire (Office based)

Job Type: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

The Client:

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm, offering extensive expertise and support to businesses & individuals.

The Role:

As an Accounts & Business Services Senior, you will prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for managerial review.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular bookkeeping, including VAT returns and management accounts.
Plan and oversee relevant work assignments.
Mentor junior staff and delegate tasks appropriately.
Address client queries and track assignment progress.
Manage specific assignments and coordinate services.
Attend client meetings and perform site visits as necessary.

Requirements:

Previously worked as an Accounts Senior or in a similar role.
Possess 4+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice within the UK.
ACA / ACCA qualified or currently pursuing qualification.
Effective communication skills with both colleagues and clients.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
