What your day to day will look like as an Accounts Senior:
Prepare financial statements from client source records, completing the necessary supporting schedules for manager review.
Undertake regular bookkeeping for clients, including the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts as necessary.
Guiding and advising trainee / junior staff in the department, delegate work where necessary and suggest work that other members of the team can undertake.
Chase up outstanding queries with clients and to progress manage their own assignments.
Take responsibility for a certain assignments, be able to coordinate separate firm services, plan suggesting dates for internal reviews etc.In this role you may be required to travel to clients' premises for meetings or other work. (Some overtime is required from time to time.)
Skills and experience you will have:
Proven experience within a similar role
ACA/ACCA qualified or studying towards achieving ACA/ACCA qualification
Passionate about offering a high-quality service
Friendly, and able to communicate clearly with both colleagues and clients
Great time management
Desire to develop and progress
