Job Title: Engineering Release Coordinator

Forseven, a pioneering company in the electric vehicle industry, is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Release Coordinator to join our Engineering Operations team.

This role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, where you will have the opportunity to work alongside visionary minds in the automotive field.

As an Engineering Release Coordinator, you will be responsible for working with our Design, Engineering, and Technical Procurement functions to ensure the accuracy of Bill of Materials (BoM) data regarding part specification, source codes, weight, quantity, and other attributes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Extract vehicle BoM for GMT projects from 3DX when required and send it or upload it to Smartsheet for project ETRS reports and status.
  • Follow the Engineering Release Process and checklist before the release in 3DX.
  • Check all release points mentioned in the checklist and liaise with engineers if any modification is required before approving the part/assembly in 3DX.
  • Suggest modifications to the process to make it better and more efficient.
  • Feed all release data information to different areas – MBoM, ERP system, Smartsheet, Mass and Cost tracker on a regular basis and assist the ERP team in keeping the data updated.
  • Keep track of the CAD release from start to end.
  • Liaise with 3DX, Smartsheet team, and function groups to keep the process, system, and tracker updated.
  • Support the development and implementation of a PLM and ERP system.
  • Monitor system efficiency and propose changes to improve functionality.
Requirements:
  • Display evident engineering coordination experience within the automotive industry.
  • Solid understanding of design standards, release standards, and engineering drawing standards.
  • Good working knowledge of whole vehicle structuring is essential.
  • PLM experience is a must.
  • Knowledge of 3D Experience (PLM) system.
  • Proven success in applying processes in automotive or other applicable industries.
  • Experience of coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Relevant experience in BoM Management and release process management.
