About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Release Coordinator to join our Engineering Operations team at Forseven, a revolutionary company transforming the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices.

This is a hybrid role based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, where you will work alongside visionary minds in the automotive field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Extract vehicle BoM data from 3DX and send it to Smartsheet for project ETRS reports and status.
  • Follow the Engineering Release Process and checklist before releasing parts or assemblies in 3DX.
  • Check release points and liaise with engineers for modifications before approving parts or assemblies.
  • Suggest process improvements to make it more efficient.
  • Feed release data to MBoM, ERP system, Smartsheet, Mass and Cost tracker, and assist the ERP team in keeping data updated.
  • Track CAD releases from start to end.
  • Liaise with 3DX, Smartsheet team, and function groups to keep the process, system, and tracker updated.
  • Support the development and implementation of a PLM and ERP system.
  • Monitor system efficiency and propose changes to improve functionality.
Requirements
  • Display evident engineering coordination experience within the automotive industry.
  • Solid understanding of design standards, release standards, and engineering drawing standards.
  • Good working knowledge of whole vehicle structuring is essential.
  • PLM experience is a must.
  • Knowledge of 3D Experience (PLM) system.
  • Proven success in applying processes in automotive or other applicable industries.
  • Experience of coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Relevant experience in BoM Management and release process management.
