Main Responsibilities:
  • Artwork Inspection and Packing: Inspect artworks to determine the best packing methods and materials to ensure their protection during transit.
  • Collaboration with Team Members: Liaise with warehouse operators, art handlers, and logistics staff to ensure efficient workflow and on-time deliveries.
  • Paperwork and Record-Keeping: Handle paperwork such as bills of lading, labelling, timesheets, and detailed condition reports with photos.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain accurate records of packed artworks, ensuring proper labelling and documentation to track their movement within the warehouse.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized to ensure the safety of stored artworks.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in art handling, fine art packaging, or related fields is preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of art packing materials, techniques, and best practices is essential.
  • Physical Fitness: Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects are required.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills are necessary.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential.
