Operating from our Swanick depot in Hampshire, we are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You will be welcomed into a friendly and supportive field-based team dedicated to inspecting and maintaining a diverse array of ITS assets. A strong emphasis on health and safety in the workplace, along with a readiness to learn and collaborate as part of a team, is essential. While electrical aptitude is desirable, prior experience in the traffic industry is not mandatory, as we offer comprehensive training and certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct maintenance and inspections of traffic signals, including servicing, upgrading, and troubleshooting signal heads, controllers, ancillary equipment, and highway systems. Perform electrical tests and periodic inspections, along with upgrade activities. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to specifications and timelines. Collaborate with contractors and clients on-site. Accurately analyze and process fault and asset data to support contract and asset performance reporting. Assist with emergency repairs and out-of-hours work as required (on a team rota basis). Complete mandatory product training and obtain industry and highways sector scheme accreditation. Maintain awareness of workplace safety and proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Who You Are:

You enjoy acquiring new skills, confidently taking on new tasks, and working on-site. You possess an electrical qualification or relevant experience in the installation, maintenance, and/or testing of equipment. You are helpful and willing to take initiative. You enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable with safe practices, including working at heights. You have a keen eye for detail and enjoy troubleshooting. You are a team player who works well with others towards common goals. You are willing to work unsociable hours on a fair rota basis to ensure tasks are completed. A full driving license is required, and you should be within a commutable distance from the designated area.

What We Offer:

Competitive base salary with an annual bonus. 26 days of holiday, increasing to 29 days with length of service.
