We are a leading provider of Intelligent Traffic Solutions (ITS) in the UK, and we're looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Field Services team, you'll be responsible for inspecting and maintaining a wide range of ITS assets, including traffic signals, controllers, and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and inspect traffic signals, including servicing, upgrading, and troubleshooting of signal heads, controllers, and ancillary equipment
  • Complete electrical tests, periodic inspections, and upgrade activities
  • Ensure work is completed to a high and safe standard, to specifications and on time
  • Liaise with contractors and customers on site
  • Analyse and process fault and asset data to support contract and asset performance reporting
  • Support emergency repairs and out of hours work to support contract requirements
  • Complete mandatory product training and industry and highways sector scheme accreditation
  • Be aware of safety at work and identify potential hazards

Requirements:

  • You enjoy learning new activities, picking up new jobs confidently, and working on site
  • You have an electrical qualification or experience in installation, maintenance, and/or testing of equipment
  • You're helpful and willing to use your own initiative
  • You enjoy working outside and are comfortable working safely and at height
  • You have good attention to detail and enjoy troubleshooting
  • You enjoy working towards the team's goals and work well with other people
  • You're willing to work unsociable hours on a fair rota basis to ensure work can be completed
  • You need a full driving licence and be based within commutable distance from our depot
