About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate tutor to provide 1:1 education support to young people with special educational needs (SEN) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs or be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a strong understanding of child development and learning strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality educational sessions to primary and secondary students with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Build effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs or as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
