Optical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Manager to join our team at Asda Opticians. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our optical department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead a team of Optometrists and Optical Assistants to deliver high-quality patient service
- Oversee compliance processes and procedures to ensure regulatory requirements are met
- Review sales forecasting and department targets to drive business growth
- Deal with customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- On track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced optics environment
- Excellent customer and patient care skills
- Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets
