As a Senior Interior Designer at Customs Bureau, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about shaping the future of hospitality. Our holistic design approach combines sustainability, innovation, and attention to detail to deliver unparalleled experiences for our clients and their guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concept Development: Lead the development of concept design through planning, sketching, and rendering, ensuring that our designs are conceptually driven and make a statement.
  • Schematic Design: Acquire and coordinate samples from vendors, formulate furniture boards, and further develop concept design with sketches, thumbnails, plans, and specialty finishes.
  • Design Development: Refine the approved design language into buildable drawings, assist in information required by the Spec department, and review and implement design specifications.
  • Construction Documentation: Work with Project Management to develop specialty custom built items, compile and finalize all FF&E pieces, and develop a complete drawing package.
  • Construction Administration: Provide sufficient information for budget development, answer vendor/contractor questions, review Shop Drawings and Submittals, and provide site clarifications.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field of Design (Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, etc.)
  • 6+ years of post-graduate work experience
  • Adequate knowledge of the Interior Design Profession
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp, and b+w hand rendering skills
  • Additional 3D software skills are an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
