Duty Nurse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Duty Nurse Manager to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management across our hospital site, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide senior nursing support and professional advice to all areas within the hospital site.
- Act as the first point of contact for wards and departments during out-of-hours periods, liaising with senior managers as necessary.
- Ensure effective patient flow, both unscheduled and scheduled admissions.
- Work collaboratively with the Urgent Care Centre, Acute Assessment Units, and other members of the Patient Flow Team.
- Take the lead in the hospital's emergency plans for fire, cardiac arrest, and major incidents.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to address operational issues affecting hospital facilities.
- Develop and implement risk-sensitive solutions to address operational challenges.
- Be a highly visible role model to all staff within the hospital.
- Liaise professionally with internal and external customers.
- Cope with, manage, and diffuse difficult and stressful situations, working effectively under pressure.
- RN and current NMC registration.
- Understanding of specialty patient flows.
- Experience managing and leading staff.
- Ability to make decisions and work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Excellent influencing and negotiating skills.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- ALS provider or willingness to achieve within the first three months of the post.
